Rewired my SG-X... again...

A little while back I bought an SG-X and wired it up to have nothing but a kill switch. While that was kinda fun, guys like BackCrack on that thread were right... the best option is to rewire the coil tap into a blower switch. Then I can have the best of both worlds.

So I got some 500k pots in from squank here, googled some wiring diagrams, broke out the soldering iron, melted some wire housing, burned wood along the edges of the control cavity, burned my fingers a time or two... and about 3 and a half hours later, I now have it wired up 50's LP Junior style thanks to this thread with a blower thanks to the Seymour Duncan blog. First time I plugged it in, everything worked! Well, except I put the switch on upside-down from what I intended.

I still have the stock cap in there. I know to do 50's wiring, you typically replace the cap. I think next I'm going to do a little research and see what that's all about.

It was a lot of fun. I have young kids, so sometimes the only fun thing I get to do with my gear is tinker with it, as was the case yesterday.
