There is a lot to unpack and this started on a old lesson from a guitar magazine on his double picked pentatonic lesson I remembered. This isn't it and I'll find it at some point but the point is pick slanting pentatonics...it was never called that back in the day. Ironic how my search took me to Troy Grady's site. Enjoy...

This here lesson is also a great start to get into Randy's riffs/thoughts.

 
That was lame. I care more about theory and technique for applied content not learning other people's riffs.
 
That Randy interview was great. Seems like he was happy and excited to show exactly what he was playing. Sucks that he passed so young.

Ok. To be fair, i dont know what i was thinking, but when i read this, i thought you were going to go through the idiosyncracies of playing a rhoads jackson

Anyone have that old lesson of his double picked pentatonic scales?
 
I have to admit this whole technique fucks me up. All the other shit that I've made progress on and the simple 2nps rip back and forth. I'm pissed...
