Awesome, tight and nasty but with enough low end thump to make it felt not just heard. The 201 is really underrated, great on snare and many other typical 57 applications.

Thanks homie, that’s what makes the peppers the best to me for so many things. Doesn’t work with everything, but when it does it’s insane. It was completely unusable with my two notes torpedo, this would’ve been the perfect clip to compare them, because it’s just so terrible with the harshness and aliasing with this pedal for some reason. And absolutely destroyed any and all low end. The reasons I won’t shut up about it being terrible would have been shown in full detail with this amp and pedal setup with and di track. Because, you know, I haven’t beaten this dead horse enough yet haha!

Tight and angry, I'd love to hear this in a mix. Well donet

Thanks man. I’m going to mix this track when I have time. 20 minutes of work and it already sounds better than anything I’ve ever done. Just goes to show you how important extremely well done and recorded tracks with amazing playing matter. With raw tones that sound this good ( the drums and bass as well, absolutely nuts) the track mixes itself. Any guitar tone I put on the DI’s of this track is gonna sound amazing and work. 50 percent of the work was done before it even got in the box, Russ Russell did an amazing job on this.
