amazing how as you get closer to the end, you start looking back and realizing that you need purpose for being here and closing out things appropriately. With that said, monster guitar player that had the touch...Dude seemed to play anything and never overplayed. I still am amazed at the pyrotechnic fire effect he created at California Jame with Coverdale era....that looked crazy dangerous...
 
I think it is to coincide with the release of "The ritchie blackmore story" DVD that is coming out in november
 
Ritchie Blackmore IMO is one of the all time greatest there was/is in the rock world.

We decided to add burn to our set list and although not one of his hardest solos, it gave me a run for my money all this week practicing it. Just an amazing guitarist all around.

totally agree. His style is so unique I have never heard anyone who even sounds remotely like him
