What guitar is Phil X playing ?? He doesn't look right playing a newish guitar.

Saw them when they came out to Australia in 06 or 07, I can't remember which year now. In terms of special effects it was a really basic show, but they knocked out songs beautifully. It was a great night.

THIS is why I turned the gig down. I told Jon that people would not be happy with my replacing Mr. Sambora. I could never make people happy enough. Even though I have a 'Sambora' look (tall, lean, dark hair, Italian features) and can play most of those lines, I'm not him. Jon had a hard time taking 'no' for an answer.

And then I woke up.

I was gonna say.. His guitar playing is one thing (and I think he is amazing), but BV's is where I think the dude really shines.

It's a Yamaha SG1801 signature guitar they did for him. Very limited run I think.

Just checked-out some of Phil X's YT clips... Sounds good to me!

Is Ritchie leaving the band or just pulling out of the tour? Either way it'll be sad to see the band without him, he was one of my favourite guitarists in my childhood.

I saw Bon Jovi back in 2010 and I was disappointed. I think they have great songs and I've been listening to them since their second album. Their stage setup made me feel like I was going to see Jon Bon Jovi with a backup band. I forget what song they started with but it wasn't the kind of song that moves a crowd for an opener. Runaway felt like it was on half-speed. It was just a real bummer. I was wishing I had seen them back in the relentless touring days. I like the band but that show just really let me down. Ritchie's tone was great though!

I saw them back in 88-89 with Cinderella  $16-$23 for tickets fairly close to the stage
Those were the days  The Pn$$y at those shows back then :D ….well it is probably the same but 30 years older with a few kids pop'd out of it and a lot more miles

Only out for this leg of the tour. End of April.

I spoke with a client who was telling me how jbj stole some of his lyrics that they used for a Red Sox commercial.

Suing for 400B lol....kind of funny. This was 5 years ago but I can't find any info on the outcome.

I know the guy hasn't rcvd any $$$ but I'm curious if it was dismissed or still pending.

Anyone know?

Yea that's what I figured. The guy was seriously convinced and sincere.

To the point where I think he is either mentally unstable or was telling the truth.

I'll go with unstable lol.

not a fan of BJ or RS myself, have some well written songs but their just blah to me and RS is a good writer and works well in the group his style isn't m thing.

- but Phil X is cool :)

Sorry, I couldn't stomach playing this material every night, regardless of all the milf tail in the audience and money you can make.

whats with not making the bassist a part of the band? They fired the orig bassist and have been using the same blonde short haired dude I think since then, but refuse to make him part of the band?

Ha no kidding.

Yeah, it's gotta be torture to play simple, straight up rock music to sold out coliseums and stadiums filled with hot milfs every night.
