I saw it the night before. Got my finances in order and called the next day.... someone had just put it on layaway right before I called.... felt sick. I have had a modded 3 channel triple and alot of duals.... I had always wanted that chrome triple 2 channel. Never seen another one for anywhere near that obviously. Really dont see them anyway amymore.
I feel like there's 6 TGP/RigTalk members who have collectively hoarded all of those amps. Cant even find a dual rectifier in rackmount anymore. (Saw those for $1000-1200 more than once) Told suddenly they've all vanished.... being kept prisoner in some rich, noodle handed players music room collecting dust

It's like this with anything in guitar now, especially since COVID happened and all the super noob hobbyists completely upset the market. Prices for golden era BC Riches, Deans, Hamers, basically anything US made has completely skyrocketed to the point where only collectors can afford it anymore.
Someone was selling a ractifier in the classifieds recently, I wanna say though.

Yeah. It is a goddamned shame. I remember when Fortin was big, I bought a zuul pedal to try it out. And on the Fortin facebook page, people were taking pics of their pedals with snakes, and on Lambo hoods. I thought it was so fucking gay. So I ordered a meatball sub, and unwrapped it, and it looked like a murder scene, so i set my zuul pedal on the wrapper next to the mess and took a pic. My boy Larry said the Zulu pedal sucked.
I remember Fortin wanted like 40 an hour in an email to confirm how my transformer blew in the Randall Satan I had because of some useless 40 cent capacitor that there was 4 of that wasnt even needed on the power section.
Id already deducted it was blown but wanted to triple check the designer before buying a thrasher transformer for it (same).
Anyway I said nah Im good, went ahead had thr transformer replaced with another very skilled lifetime tech I know. He explained how fake and gay the capacitors were that the one blew and took out the transformer.
Lost all faith in his Larry designs then.
I kind of want to try a real Larry though....
