It's been a while since I saw a whacha got thread. So here we go...

I think I have FINALLY found my "the rig." All I really want at this spoint is a good tele.

(Lto R) ESP LTD mutt that I put together. Pickups are a Gibson 495 in the neck and a Duncan Alnico II JB
2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic with a set of Duncan Pearly Gates pickups.... this is my #1.

Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mark I. I love this amp... and have loved it for almost two years now.
Marshall JCM900 1960B cab

TC Electronics Nova System in the loop w/ expression pedal
In front of the amp I have a Strob-O-Stomp 2, Dunlop 535Q and a Bixonic Expandora for any extra dirt that I want.

This really is the most versitale, yet simple rig that I have had in a very long time. I really don't think that there is a tone I really can achieve. It covers everything that I do extremely well!

I am hoping to move the splawn cab and the JCM800 will be going to Dave Friedman for a kitchen sink mod, but this will be the scene for awhile!

No. However, this is not really a big issue for me, as I always have at least some detune going on.

i've been cutting back big time on my rig. simplicity is key i believe. getting rid of everything that isnt 100% the way i like it. tired of making excuses to keep gear, its getting expensive that way, and you cant have everything.

If it's anything like the V I tried I'm sure I'll love mine to. Between it and my DSL I've got pretty much every base covered.

yeah that ESP is beautiful dude. looks amazing, you did an awsome job you like the LTD neck? after touching real ESP wood i could tell a difference in the quality of the LTD necks at GC

The neck is ok. I did some work on it to get it where I wanted it.
