Compare and contrast these suckers.

Which has more mids, and which is warmer?

I havn't tried the Rio. I stopped trying other pups after I started playing Bare knuckles seven years ago. The Rebell Yell in my les Paul Custom could not be any better. Has an organic, open tone to it, yet it can also be tight for a more modern tone. It has excellent harmonics and string clarity. I thought I wanted something else and went through three other BK sets before coming back to the RY. You really can't go wrong. The pup is nicely balanced. The neck is a little darker but I like that for vintage neck tones. Tim Mills is a great guy also. He has answered every single email over the last seven years. He sent me replacements when a mistake was made without even receiving the wrong ones back. Once you find a pup you like, he will even tweak it for you if theres something a little different you want at no charge. Wax potting is for life if your pickup needs it. You pay the freight which is about 7 pounds or maybe 10 bucks.

I'm 99% there on the Rebel Yell.

I have a feeling once I drop it in my Strat, I'll want another for my Les Paul (which currently has a Suhr Aldrich in it).

How would you compare the Rebel Yell to the Aldrich??
