And Yngwie even though it might not show in his playing. Yngwie once said in an interview that he could watch Allan just stand there and play guitar all night
 
OMG, so sad :no: The music world has lost one of the greatest guitarists of all time :( RIP
 
RIP. Ran into him at the bar in the Marriott this last NAMM show in Anaheim. Really nice guy. Sad to hear of his passing.
 
Dang! All the greats are getting older. Next 10 years will be very interesting for sure!
 
I am VERY sorry to hear that. Allan was an incredible musician and a first class gentleman. I was fortune enough to meet him some years back. My prayers go out to his loved ones.
 
The guy was incredible, I opened for him once years ago, jaw dropping experience to say the least! RIP
 
Have been on vacation and knew of his show last week in San Marcos so I made the decision to see it. Was able to meet him and express my gratitude to him for how he opened my mind. Not sure how to upload pics as I have a couple. Sat in the front row.....Very sad about this.....

His very last show...wow man.
 
Incredibly sad. He was the player of all players really. Nobody else like him.
