Bob passed away Friday after a battle with Bone Cancer. Most of you know Bob for his MojoVibes and UltraVibes, considered by many to be some of the best Vibe pedals out there.

Bob was a friend of mine, we spoke often through his illness and he was a really good dude who had to deal with some bad stuff. He never complained, he just wanted to be over it so he could get back to doing what he loved, building pedals and playing music...

I still have my both my Vibes from him, my Mojo and the one off Ultra that he made for me and I love them and will continue to play them with good memories of Bob. He always had cool stories and was always very helpful...

Thanks for the Tones and Godspeed Bob, It was a pleasure knowing you

I read that on the HRI Forums last night and I was blown away.

RIP Bob.

My heart goes out to his friends and family.

Sad indeed.

Fuck cancer. Why haven't we solved this yet?

Damn, I was hoping he'd somehow make it through this.

:( RIP Bob.

RIP Bob. Sorry for your loss Kage.
Not really my Loss Bro, more like everyone who played and loved his stuff. I spoke to him years ago and we just kind of clicked. we werent best buds , just really friendly and we used to speak on a semi regular basis whether it was me picking the phone up or him.

When he became Ill, I used to speak with him weekly and then that tapered off. Id just leave messages and hed get back to me and over time, it just got longer and longer. I spoke to him 2 weeks ago and he was having a really rough time. I just got the news of his passing yesterday...

Same here, read about it last night on HRI. It's a shame RIP Bob.

RIP Bob. I had one of his mojovibes and it was fantastic. Wish I still had it. :(

RIP Bob. I knew him since his start with the original black Untravibes. Talked to him many times up till just before he started getting sick.
He was ordering parts for a limited run of a Univox Univibe exact repro. Casing...footcontroller and all.
I was really looking foward to that but, with his illness it got put on hold.
I had his stuff 2 and 3 times over. His latest Ultra II I now wish I'd held onto as with his fuzzes.

I posted up my Sweetsound clips this morning in memory of a Bob, a great guy. RIP

I guess he wasnt faking like you said he was huh? You remember, when you put up that shit at Mikes Place about people faking cancer so that others would hold benefits for them. Ill find the link and post it to refresh your memory. Blekas saw it, so did Teese and a whole bunch of others. Bob didnt like you, matter of fact, he told me that he wished he lived closer to you so that he could kick your ass LOL... I know, youll try and lie your way out or say that Im lying but guess what? too many people saw the truth, so dont bother...

Fuck off and die, the world would be a better place if you and Bob could switch places..

I have a Mojo Vibe and its a sweet pedal IMHO. I waited for 3 months after my order was sent and it was well worth it. My Leslie sits unused to this day. I didn't know Bob but can appreciate his fine quality workmanship and dedication to the univibe pedal. Its always sad to see someone pass before their time but from the posts Iv'e seen he was loved and respected.

RIP

After listening to a LOT of univibe clips when I was shopping for one, Bob's was the best I'd heard.

My best friend is in his last days fighting his cancer, and my step sister had two weeks left to live. Cancer is the most frightening illness I can imagine. My prayers go out to all who are touched by this terrible disease.

+1. Fuck you, Carl. The stuff you've said over the years is unforgivable. I'm shocked people on this forum are giving you another chance.

Kage, this was a very decent post you put up for your friend. I wish you better days as you and all those Bob touched try to move past the hurt of losing someone solid like him. I send you well wishes, mojo, and my prayers. Sorry to hear Bob has passed! Go easy friend. Hollywood......

If this thread is in memory of someone, will you guys please not disgrace it with bickering?

Who cares if he said shitty stuff and wasn't friends with the guy and they were mortal enemies.

This thread was created with good intention to mourn or say things about someone who created great (never owned any) products.

It would be nice if you all could just keep this thread civil, create a different one to dirty up with the arguing/flaming.

Ryan
