Not a musician but damn, this guy has been a fav of mine for a long time. One of the best voices in movies and games. Always very good in whatever he was in. Only 60.

Excellent actor - always had a ton of presence in the scenes he was in, been watching him in shows since 2001 - Oz, the Wire, Fringe, Bosch… damn good performances in all of those. For a dude that excelled in serious police commander type roles he was also really damn funny dude too - his appearances on podcasts sharing hilarious stories, that skit where he is the manager at a toy store, or his ridiculous appearance on the Eric Andre show were all A+
After I read about his death I just couldn’t help but remember the scene from the last (or second to last) season in Bosch where he pulled up alongside his political opponents car, has the window down and just gives them a death stare before leaning back and rolling the window up. Dude just didn’t even need to say anything to be a badass.
