He was a very nice guy and always answered the stupid questions I asked him when I was younger. He is also the guy that pushed carvin for an 8 string model. Apparently he once learned a whole korn set in 14 hours before playing with them live. There's a video where he talks about it but I cant find it now.
 
Super nice guy and an amazing guitarist. He left us WAY too soon :(

Man that's a damn shame. It's funny, but he was such a smooth player. Even in the vid above, shredding like mad, it was super tasty playing.
 
Horrible news. I really liked his playing & he stuck me as a cool hilarious character. RIP.
 
Man that really sucks, very sad news. I remember turning on to him when he was demoing Bugera amps at NAMM '07.

because the TO is a Diezeldude, I decided to re-upload the vids
from 2007, those are the only clips with Shane on a Diezel amp

I deleted them a while ago because there were so many hater comments like:

"Shane is a wanker, coming in, wanking here and there ..." or
"Poor Peter Diezel, turn the gain a little lower ... turn it down yourselve you pussy!"

This time, the clip stays up and the hater comments will be deleted

i just like the second clip, the guy playing the ibanez a bit better. shane is super clean, and it bothers me a bit when people judge someones style or the entire sound of an amp on these fun "fly on the wall" type videos. I mean i make my money as a sideman and hired gun for nashville artists and in studio sesions, but if someone judged me by down from up and they said all i can do is modern rock i would feel like that was unfair statement.
