I bought a 15" alnico speaker from him for my Guytronix 2 watt DIY amp. I called up to ask some questions and about half way through I realize I'm speaking directly with Ted. I thought it was technician or something. It was like the exchange in Napoleon Dynamite:
"Hey is Napoleon there?"
"Yes."
"Well, Can I speak to him?"
"You already are."
"Oh, hey Napoleon."
I also told him I was going to buy a Monster cable to hook it up and he laughed at me. He told me to go to Home Depot and by some lamp chord, twist it together and solder on a jack. I did exactly that and the tone's always been great.
I've had an eye on some of his attenuators for awhile as well. I wonder what the future of all his products and innovations will be.
