Well obviously the interview time etc.. was set, I am just saying the content and the way the guy interviewed him probably wasn't. I think he thought it would be fun to take a guy for a walk and then he just started having even more fun with the situation.. either way it was very entertaining. I also agree, he has incredible chops and an even more incredible natural voice.

It was definitely set up by Richie. I'm sure he told the interviewer what he wanted to do and then did it. He's using youtube and video blogs to get exposure, and a boring sit down on the couch interview isn't nearly as entertaining as THIS.

I don't think it was staged. Kotzen fucking hates noise and he even complains about the noise at one point. During shows he will sometimes make everyone turn off all cellphones and shit because they can interfere with tubes and stuff. He has a picky ear. He set his shit up for hours during soundcheck and all was doing was plugging and unplugging two cables. They went to his amp and and he was concerned how they effected his voice...yeah. Even if you watch some of the youtubes of his home and bus stuff, they have multiple camera shot and zoom q3hds and shit recording among the other professional stuff so he gets better quality sound. I can't imagine he would have staged this in this manner.
If he had it would have been done better and he would have just posted it on FB and on yt and I would have seen it already because I get a direct feed from him. I could be wrong though. It would be odd though, since he posts everything else including his August's shows with the Suits and he already told us about his European tour.

This was staged. I can't believe no one has even considered that the "interviewer" is actually a close friend of Richie's.... or that the female voice at the end, the one holding the camera, is Richie's gf. One of the guys here already said it, Richie is a master at marketing.... this was the work of a genius getting all his promo and up-coming events out there in one video...loved it

I don't know Ritchie or his friends, so it slipped by me very easily.
