Rivera Knucklhead/Tre amps

What are the main differences between some of the Knucklehead amps? I know there is a Tre version and the Knucklehead reverb but what sets them apart? I had a KR7 back in the day and am curious about possibly trying a Rivera again.

I just posted a tre NAD. I have the k100 too. The tre has a ton more gain, and more modern sounding. The k100 has better cleans and you are able to get OD out of both channels if you want. The cleans on both are georgous.

There's also the KII and the Knucklehead Reverb. I believe everything from the KII onward are much more modern than the original. I have a KII and it's a fantastic amp. Really nice cleans and everything from really nice crunch to full on modern high gain.

My Knucklehead 100 has more of a JCM800 level of gain and maxes there. My K-TRE has way more gain than anyone could EVER need. The cleans are similar IMO, but the K100 has the ability to have a lot of gain. The tre, the clean is clean. Both fender-esque cleans.

I have the KR7, I would say its the custom shop version of the knucklehead.. You can call Rivera, they are great to talk to.. I bought it after talking to them. . the cleans are better and more gain on the KR7 than the Knucklehead..
