Thought about picking one of these up. From the very few clips I've heard, it is right up my alley. I've heard some say that is similar to a VHT UL (which is my favorite amp) and judging by some of the clips it sounds like it very well might be. I have a UL, contemplating getting rid of my Deliverance 120 for the KR7. The kR7 appeal being the simliar tones to the VHT stuff, along with the added versitility, great clean channel, and completely midi (very cool)...so....whatcha guys think about them?

I had one.

Tried to like it.

Wanted to like it.

Couldn't Make it work for me.
Much too loud.
Blah tone.
Not tight enough for my tastes.
Very squishy Rivera distortion.

Had it for a few months.
Had a very hard time trying to sell it.

I would suggest avoiding it at all costs.

Really? wow...Thats surprising. First time I've heard that about it but hmm....anyone else?

Yeah man....I had one....same one TWICE! :D
Had it HEAD TO HEAD with a VHT ULTRA LEAD. It sounded damn near IDENTICAL to me and the previous owner. The VHT was a little louder though. I loved Channel 2 of that amp. That was a Hot rod Marshall tone FOR SURE! ;)
Would I own one again?
In a second. Has the built in boosts for each channel. Really versatile. Here is an old clip I did with it.
Not the greatest playing or recording....but you get the message.
its not a SLIPKNOT amp can do it all......but it is a BRUTAL Bastard.

Rock on Brother and snag that BAD BOY!!

whats a good price for one? I cant find ANYTHING about these amps...they look freakin great...however almost all of the clips on the net are....blah...nothing special at all...Mailman, I can't see your clip right now as I am at work :-D Is it the live one of you playing with the amp in the background? playing like a jackson or something? I think I have seen it possibly...

The Bad Monkey was the best boost out of the 10 or so we tried through the KR7.. Other amps.. Not so much.. I use one with my Splawn and it sounds killer too.

I never used that Midi board that came with it. Just plugged and played. :aww:
But YES the amp is very versatile.
The high gain is more VHT tone then Mesa etc......I been diggin the Mesa tone better the last couple years so thats my reason. :D

I Still stay Skip It.
While it sounds good....I like the Recto tone better myself. ;)
The KR7 sounded pretty dry to me.

Well, these need to be really, really loud to start sounding good... and then they start sounding awesome. But if you can´t have the master up to about 3.5 or 4 on a regular basis you should probably look for something else.
