Ok, I've tried just having a board with pedals on it and keep it simple but when i'm doing vocals and need to switch an effect on, Im finding it difficult.

So here is what I'm thinking. I know the Axe FX II seems to be problematic with the Hagen. I'm thinking of building a mini rack with my 4 MXR Pedals, Axe FX and Rack Wah.

Has anyone used a RJM Effects Gizmo with the Hagen? If so, can you please describe your experience.

Cheers.

Reza is a diezel user who has RJM stuff, he be a best bet to chat with about that, i think he hss a you tube vid demonstrating how he uses it with his VH4

Indeed. I use the RJM effects gizmo with both my VH4 and the Hagen. Works perfectly. Using a Ground control for switching.

Thanks man. I'm using the Axe FX for Delays and Reverbs. So will be switched in and out.

How would I set this up?

Cheers.

I use Rjm rg16 with my Hagen n evh iii. Been using it for years pedals in a drawer. I lift the ground on one head eliminating noise. Diezel Columbus midi pedal for switching. I am lead singer n need it easy. I have only phase,chorus/flange,octave,delay,harmonist and tremolo. My rack wah is always on go. N rack tuner is in tuner out of rg16.

Flawless n simple. Two cables out front wah n midi.

Is a RG-16 really needed when you are just switching the amp channels and effects?

Yeah... Channels on evh switched by special cable. Hagen via midi n pedals in n out if loops ???

Ah ok. Thats what I was thinking. I thought that you were using the Amp Switcher to switch the Hagen too but, obviously not.

I think the effects gizmo is all I need :)
