I am sure most of you have seen Bruce Springsteen telling a crowd in Europe about his TDS issues. As if a guy that has never held a real job, never known what it's like to struggle, about how the Trump administration is going to take away your rights. He couldn't be more out of touch with reality with the common man. BTW Europe has their own issues. They don't need to focus on ours.

I was at a Pearl Jam show Sunday in PITTSBURGH and EV referenced Bruce and applauded his efforts. He was mostly mumbling his own version of Trump Derangement but he said something that pissed me off. "We aren't sure we will even have a mic to voice our option a year from now". Excuse me Mr. Vedder but the current administration isn't the one who was suppressing free speech and censoring the internet. Another case of a guy that has more money than god and totally out of touch with reality. Once they started playing Rocking int he Free World I was gone. I hate that fucking stupid song.

Anyway, I like Pearl Jam but I go to concerts to escape reality and enjoy myself. I don't need a rock star telling me how I should vote. And by the sounds of it, half the people there agreed with me.

Everyone is welcome to their own political opinions, celebrities included, but not on my dime. We have politics shoved down our throats 24/7 and a concert should be a good escape from it but these idiots are don't get it. I've seen Kid Rock 2X and he puts on one hell of a show but the politics were there a bit. His stuff is more Pro-America and Patriotism but the politics are still there so I'm not sure I'd go again.
I'm sure one of our resident twat-mufiins will chime in with the "free speech" comment. True, it is free speech, but I'll use free will not to give those artists my money.

I have never liked that shitty band.

I was told Mike McCready had that Hendrix vibe so when I heard him play I decided time was better spent listening to actual Hendrix.
I don’t even know who Mike McCready is but if he’s in Pearl Jam, I couldn’t care less. :ROFLMAO:

These entertainers don't realize we don't care for their political opinion.

If I order a Big Mac, I don't care to hear the opinion of the guy who needs a picture on his register.

This is nothing new. I guess you missed that brief punk scene from 1976 to the present day. And before that the late 60's Hippie generation had tons of anti government protest songs, etc.

I'm surprised some of these celebrities haven't realized yet that NOBODY wants to hear their politics regardless of what side they're on. Right or left, playing music or acting in movies does NOT make you a poli/sci authority.

Mc Cready is a bad ass. Pearl Jam sucks though. I could care less about their politics. I agree with @theclev too. Fucking shut up and play. No one gives a fuck who your favorite succubus fucking shitbag is.

You're right. McCready is a badass.

Music is a subversive art. People seem to be losing sight of that.
