Great playing, man- but I miss the open mouthed expressions of astonishment. A Mark Day video from the neck down just ain't right... :yes:

to correct myself, if this rhythmic pattern i suggested was correct(and i don't think it quite is any more), it would be 16th note triplets-not 32nd notes!
...but the very first grouping he plays does sound like the 5 note pattern i suggest....the next 7 sound like 4 notes maybe..i don't know....
 
I can't comment on the technical schlumbo!
The tone though, and I don't listen to scorpions religiously but love this one

NOICE!

Just got back from my friends house and had a jam season with the kids, had to show them the scorpions version of Cant Explain which turned into a monster 15 minute jam :rock:
 
im not a fan of AxeFX but that tone made me consider changing my opinion. :doh: :rock:
 
I wanted to thank Pat (mentoneman) for giving some constructive thoughts about the solo, which made me dig a little deeper to get that one 5th, 5th octave part down. At least I hope I have it right lol!

Thanks Mark .... I was looking at learning this solo again the day before you put up the original post. Since then have blown it off. Now I have no excuse ..... :)
