strange sorta related story-
so the cop killer guy they were after for the last week and finally caught today had police roaring up the same hwy two blocks away from our house, and the police initially blocked the highway off right at the street i turn off of to get home!

this picture was taken 2 miles from my front door, when they moved the road block further up the hwy from us and were seaching each vehicle at gunpoint!

i'm in colorado on business but i was getting texts all day from friends keeping me up to date about the breaking news...nuts!

This is a song I wrote for my church album. Normally we use Amp Farm at church but for the recording we had our full rigs with 3rd Power Amps (underneath the stage).
While we do get to turn up loud, I do miss playing through an actual amp....

One of the songs written for the record won a Grammy the other night which was really cool.

I've really been enjoying my new Uberschall lately. Has a great clean channel and the effects loop works great! The gain channel really cuts thru, takes pedals well, and is fun to play! Cranking it up at my church gig this week....sounded great at practice!

Good to see you have at least 2 delays, that is must.

What's the story on that little cab?

My Church rig is what they provide a Line 6 spider 3 :( Thankfully they are getting a Peavey Classic 30 next week, looking forward to finally playing a tube amp there.

Wow....lots of church players here...had no idea....interesting rigs, too....what kind of stuff is typically played at church?

Nice... you're making me want to use my Ubers at church!
anything goes, but there still needs to be appropriateness regarding tone and volume
seen quite a few younger players trying to muscle in these over the top tones and volumes and it was bull in a china shop time.

No doubt. It'd be easy to do with a 120 watt tube amp, and the guitar shouldn't be the star of the show.

Cab is an Ear Candy 1x12 with a Celestion 75. Uber sounded great! Gain channel really cut through with thick bass and sustain, and clean channel sounded great too!

Seriously awesome guys.

Not too much into religion, but last time I did attend church the drummer I saw was phenomenal.

Ended up running into him in the parking lot and talked music for a good 20 min.

Was a really cool guy.

I dont get the rig with the skulls at church....

Side note :

I am still not very into religion but some of you may appreciate that Last weekend I threw away a garbage bag half full. of cd's. Slayer, Deicide, ect. Anything Satanic went bye bye

That was religious stuff, just the opposing team..!

I wonder how much of the hyped satanic stuff is the same as the hyped TV evangelists, both making money off suckers living in a fantasy world.

I respect real religion, the bottom feeders in it for the $, that is another story.. :gethim:

Your right, but for the record I never really "worshiped the devil".

The thing is, and the reason I reply to this.:

I really do not think Deicide is "hyped" Glenn Benton is for real. I dont know what he does at home and I guess it could be all hype. But the guy has an Inverted cross burned into his forehead. Thats seems pretty serious lol.

I used to LOVE Deicide until I saw them live (was actually my first live show ever to play).

He was a complete goober imo.

As brutal as Legion was I just cant really listen to that stuff anymore.

There's some black metal that just makes me feel... terrible. Not that the music is bad, but the music is so dark and hateful that it makes me a little sick to my stomach. Naglfar is a band that does that, which is to say that it does what it was meant to do.
