PDC what would you think your #2 ground up build would be worth
Mark's 'recipe' is very well documented and easily repeated by any number of the excellent techs on this forum. All Metro components, Mark's Provenance, I'd guess $2,500.00. I'd be happy with more but wouldn't be surprised with less - that is if I was selling...

I will say, the PPIMV does have a bit of a 'grainy' texture above a certain volume that George's 'post' phase inverter master on the new Metroplex II doesn't have. In other words, I think there are better schematics and better amps available today that weren't available when Mark was doing his thing to get you into that molten-plexi territory.

I’m keeping it…..I took it off Craigslist if that ONE person is out there they know how to find me

The Rockitt Retro is a good 4 holer.
I bought one used for $850, before prices went up. Installed a ppimv, and it was pretty good. I'd pay $1100ish now.
I'd pay a bit more, like $1300, if I wanted that specific mod.
I'd pay more for a Germino, Suhr, Friedman. Those guys use the best parts, and actually have the knowledge of the circuits.

I might just keep it and not sell it, why sell it…
This—sounds like that amp is like a great partscaster; you never get out of it what it’s worth.

TBH I just looked at IL CL for the listing to try and low ball you lol. Don’t sell that amp for $800 unless it’s to me.

I was asked(hear) about the parts that are in the Rockitt Retro and the parts are, sozo caps, era correct heyboer transformers, F&T electrolytic caps and Carbon comp resistors.
