It probably lost every ounce of tone that it did have from sitting atop a Bugera! haha

Not bad for a mod that consist of about four caps
It's a bit more than that, but it is an hour or two work and is completely documented on Metro forums. You'd have to be nuts to pay that.

Steve
Yea, I know. I've done the mod and it's pretty simple.
And you only charge $8500 for your mod. The other guy is nuts.
If you don't mind waiting 18 months I'll do it for $5k.

Did anyone else read the ad with a French accent?
oui oui

Mark did post some amazing Eddie tones, best I've heard, great player.

A mod to a Marshall may get you closer, but the magic is in the player, not the amp.

asshole. so, he's taking advantage of mark's death to make a $9000 profit.

Not French from France
You need to read it with something like a GSP accent

w/ bonus Halloween face

No way that will sell. I'm sure he'll be getting offers of $2k-$3k maybe. Totally taking advantage, with a French accent on top of it!

If I were to sell my Rockstah I would probably get $1500 or so.

Most of the sound and tone that was in Mark's clips was HIM, it wasn't the amp. He posted clips of a dead-on VH tone with an amp that he sold. The guy who bought the amp laid down some clips, and while it still sounded good, it was nowhere near that VH tone that Mark was getting, not even close.

Yep, he had the VH thing down pat.

Hell, Mark made a VH clip on an iphone that sounded better than most.

I've got a Rockstah mod. .It's KILLER. . I have at least a dozen Marshalls and it sounds a lot different than them all . . The closest in tonal characteristics is a Don Butler modded jtm45. . . The Egnater mod, Fortin mods, Voodoo mod, Gower mod, Bradshaw mods, BFG mods, Morin modded Marshalls I own sound NOTHING LIKE the Rockstah-mod. . It might be 4 caps or whatever, but it's a killer clean sound ,and killer cranked tone. .

If anyone would like to pay 10K for it, I'll sell it (JUST KIDDING as I know it's not worth that) ,but definitely not looking to sell for any market rate , as it's a keeper :)

Mark posted a clip one time of him through a Line6 direct in a hotel room when he was bored...it still sounded like his modded amps.

Yeah, I just picked that Line6 up for $10K. Now I sound like EVH!
