Rocktron Vendetta serial and parallel effects loops

I just ordered a used a Rocktron Vendetta 100W head and was wondering if you could use the both effects loop at the same time i.e. serial effects loop for noise gate, tremelo, compression, etc. and the parallel loop for modulations, delays, reverb, etc.

Any one try this before? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey datriani,

Yes, you can. I run my Rocktron Intellifex in the parallel effects loop for chorus/delay/reverb effects. I also run a Rockman Smart Gate noise gate in the serial effects loop. Both of the effects loops work just fine for what you're planning to use it for. I remember you had the Vendetta 2x12 combo amp. Do you still have it or did you sell it?

Yup you can - just remember to run your FX processor in the parallel loop at 100% wet otherwise you may get some odd sounds as your dry sound mixes out of phase with itself!
