Ronnie James Dio - R.I.P. 10 years ago today.

He was something else. From ELF to Rainbow and Black Sabbath and then his owns shit, the man stood out and was cool to me. I saw him perform many times.

I wish the stuff with Yngwie was better, I thought that that was going to be more awesomer than it turned out to be.

Only saw him once and got to meet him and Jimmy Bain after a Dio gig in Melbourne.

I've always felt that he had the most-theatrical voice and delivery in rock, along with superb tone. Gravitas for miles.

RIP, was just listening to the Heaven and Hell album yesterday. Def a powerhouse of a vocalist. Only saw him once live but it was with Sabbath in '07. Absolutely crushing band.
