yeah man, hard to tell what a court would say after all these years. Suffice to say Gary Moore has not done a very good job of flying under the radar in recent years

Man, get over it it was over 30 years ago and is just a guitar.

its not just a guitar, its a 59 burst, which may very well be worth 6 figures
and from what I know of Ronnie, he could use the wood right now.

Gary aint giving it back and with it being in the UK and the suit in CA he has a better chance of getting a new Cameron CCV than getting is old burst

I don't know man - given that scenario I might lean towards the Burst

Well, maybe Gary can let him touch it, or something.

Isn't there some kind of statute of limitations on this kind of stuff? Not to mention Moore obviously wasn't the one who stole it?

Just a guitar? These have brought over $500,000 at auction. That would be pretty hard to "just get over".

No shit! This is gonna be fun!

If it was a Rembrandt that had been stolen 30 years ago, there would be no question.

"Unless and until Mr. Moore is enjoined and restrained by order of this Court, it will cause irreparable injury to Mr. Montrose."

it is my opinion that Mr. Montrose needs a writ of replevin to secure his interest.

I hope he gets it back, you cant just take it and just because its 30 years later just forget about it. Thats like someone robbing a bank and the FBI finds him 30 years later, of coarse he will still get prosecuted. With such a high value to a 59 im sure he will get it back!

The only writ he needs is the writ of Bad Motor Scooter

This was suck a ripping fjooking album (or 8 track in my case ;) )

Sammy FTW too

I'm going to counter sue. It's my guitar and i CAN describe it in detail. :D It's got 2 pickups, 6 strings, and says Gibson on the headstock. Now gimme.

So is a relic'd 59 worth more or less?

I figure if Fender can laugh to the bank charging double the price for a fake relic then this guitar is worth $1,000,000 right???
