Per Digitech tech support reply. It is a line level effects send, just like rack gear. Hell yeah, I'm sold!

Each program you can set the FX to post or pregain in the settings. So yeah, it is pretty functional that way. Haven't tried yet in the loop or in a 4CM rig up.

Not all of them. It lets you set modulation and pitch fx post or pre but everything is set in order. Delay and verb are set post preamp which is the better way but sometimes I like using delay before the preamp, for example a modulated delay on a clean sound will sound better before the preamp because the modulation will sound better. But you can always use the stomp loop.

I bought a used one for $225, should have it in a few days. And the only things the TC G-System has on this are, amp channel switching and MIDI and 4 pedal loops.. There's also no OD or distortions in the G, amp or cabinet sims, and limited amount of effects that it does have.

Right, you can't move the blocks around. Just hit the amp/cab bypass and you are good to go. The EQ FX in it are quite handy too for taming the brightness of some of the delay/flange/chorus FX. If it would handle amp channel switching, it would be the bees knees. You are ahead of me though, and you don't even have yours yet! Hell, I just found the tuner :D

So do I and I second the motion. I have used the RP with several other amps and would third the motion. Great unit.

I believe the RP is similar to the GSP, and I've run it with my SLO-100R with no issues.

I'm currently running the Boss GT-10 with my SLO-100 212 combos and it works perfectly fine as well...and has the channel switching for the SLO. I was able to find a 4 cable TRS Mogami snake on ebay for like $50...so its a breeze to wire everything up and its nice and neat!!! Plus the GT-10 has two noise suppressors if you need them to tame any of the patches.

I wish Digitech would add an amp control jack to their stuff...to give the extra ability to switch amp channels!?!?

I'm using the new Digitech iPB board and it's basically the RP1000 but with dual processors. The 4CM works great and it allows me to put pedals anywhere in the chain. I used it for the first time the other day with a band and it was flawless...great stuff!

Quick question - Does the RP 1000 do harmonies? I was thinking of getting a Boss Harmonist, but if the RP does them, then I'm sold. Just looking for some basic stuff to do Lizzy, Detroit Rock City, etc. Would be a nice addition since I'm the only guitar player.
