Anyone here dig Fibes Acrylic/Fiberglass kits? I'm going to look at one today, might end up buying for myself as a birthday present.

Nothing beats an old 70's kit.

Indeed. The guy who has them says they're in good condition, but I'm going to check them out tonight to make sure. I hope he's not bullshitting me, because it's a 2 hour drive.

I have a blue acrylic Fibes set...I love it, but I wish I had bought different size toms. The smaller toms do not sound as good in the acrylic drums. If I could go back I would totally match the Bonham sizes. I do love the kit though...always a cool piece that I get asked about. Best sounding bass drum i've ever heard for the 70's thing.

I love acrylic sets.
I had a Spaun acrylic set for a while. It sounded great!
I might get another someday...a 70's kit like you mentioned. I'd like something in that coke bottle green.
I need to get my 2nd Maple set first...a C&C.
