Rumored Mesa Mark James Hetfield signature

That rhythm gallop during the solo on "Fight Fire With Fire" still sounds badass.

Master of Puppets is my favorite album by Metallica but I have to agree that RTL tone is probably his best tone. Master of Puppets has a bit of a mids thing.
I think justice tone is on another level than both those albums . Justice and the black album are top 2 tones imo

I love the mix . I think it sounds like real metal . Idk . I wouldn’t change a thing . Krisiun has clopied the production and I loved it
It works for those songs and vibe (even though that’s the only way we know them). Cold and clinical.

There’s a few “kind of” remixes out there. Can’t fully be done because there’s no actual stems, but I think they crush what was done. Newsteads bass tone on that and the guitars lows taken out a bit just makes it wayyy more aggressive.

I think the black album is where it finally got nailed. Unfortunately for me that’s when Metallica just became music I don’t really enjoy.

This guy does a solid job, though I think his personality is just over the top, he obviously does it for clicks

Concerning the amp: I can't imaging Gibson not releasing it. It would probably be a ginormous seller. It goes with the theme of putting out marks left and right.
Concerning Metallitones: yeah, another RTL fan here, but the boogie/V30 tones on the Black album are smokin hot.

Are you saying they’re “weird”.

I don’t like signature gear, which why I’m glad more than just Hetfield used the IIC++.

We should take bets on how much this amp will go for. I say if it’s available, $5K. If it’s a limited number of units: $4K
With Gibson in control, it’ll probably be priced at $10k
