is anybody doing that?...running two m4´s or maybe an m4 plus a randall modular preamp into one stereo power amp? does it make sense? do you have to fear phase problems (let´s say the cabs are identical...)? what´s the best way to split the guitars signal for that purpose?
any experiences...? would it become too fat for most of the sounds...?
thanks,
rudi

I've run this before into an RT2/50 in stereo...only time I had a problem with phase was when I used modules that I think had different #s of gain stages...into the same cab or a separate cab, the 'hollow' sound is apparent.

I used the buffer/splitter on the GCX switcher to do it but I don't see why a buffer or an AB/Y wouldn't work.

where can i see how many gain stages the single modules have...?

I have two M4's and switch between them with a Mesa High Gain Amp Switch. Works great.
