Runt 50 footswitch question

Hi I have just brought a Runt 50 combo which was new but a shop floor display model and the dealer had lost the original footswitch but supplied a single button Marshall footswitch with LED in place of it. Can anyone confirm there is no issue using the Marshall footswitch with the amp.

Are there any generic footswitches out there that would work or does it have to be a Friedman switch? Just wondering in case I ever need to get a replacement for my BE or Twin Sister.

I assume any latching footswitch without a LED would do.

Dave what value should the resistor be?

Resistor has to be 4.7k

Just got a runt 50 no footswitch. Will the single button no LED fender switch work(. Where can I find out resistor value?
