Rush quits

Been a huge fan of Rush since 3rd grade. Was introduced to 2112 by my older brother. We bought every album since and would play air guitar and drums on the couch until we were old enough to buy real instruments. I have been to every Rush tour from Grace Under Pressure through R40. I respect their decision and it has been a very bittersweet experience for me. I have to admit I cried pretty hard at the 10:03 mark of this song standing there watching them perform. I was at this very show.

All of the memories of growing up with my brothers and going to every show together just flooded back. I will always be grateful for their music and will always hold a very special part of my musical life.

This is a band I never got to see and I really regret it. Brilliant players

+1000 on this . If you are a Rush fan you must see the documentary . Old pictures and video of them in high school and great discussions about how they went to more keyboards and then came back .

One of my fave bands as well. Lived in Toronto - enough said. Saw Signals tour as well. One of the best bands to have ever existed.
