Rusty Cooley using the Axe-Fx!

I wonder if Rusty Kuntz plays one too...

Rusty is a personal friend of mine. In fact, I just got off the phone with him. he had only had the Ultra for one day of real use when he recorded those clips. Story behing it is he is friends with John P in dream theater. He was at the Iron Maiden show with Dream Theater last month and got a chance to listen to Johns tone and was blown away to find out that John stripped down ALL of his effects and ONLY uses the Boogie MKV with the Axe Ultra now. Can you imagine how relieved his guitar tech is now?

So Rusty got on the horn and ordered one and has since ebayed his old effects off.. seems like a the thing to do now. I am going to his house sometime next week to check it out.. He also has a new Twin Jet that has some new mods from Bogner to tighten up the bottom end.. Cant wait to play that.

I know Rusty may not be everyone's cup of tea but... He is an awesome guy, GREAT teacher, and I my opinion an awesome player. he can rip out any style.. he was showing me some KILLER hybrid picking not too long ago the absolutely blew me away...

Just thought you guys would dig the story on how he came to be an ultra player.
