Sad Day

Sorry to hear that ..BUT.. if you get back in shape (if you are out of shape), there are a ton of single moms ready to go and wanting to feel good about themselves after their ex's ditched them so that could be one hell of a time! Like catching the other end of your 20's and finding an old friend again. You go from lying around like a sheepdog to being a coonhound. That's something to get excited about surely :D

I guess I should say the only thing I'm sad about is putting my amp and cabs in storage. We got divorced over 15 years ago and it was all cool. We have been living together this whole time. I'm just going to miss chugging away at loud volumes through two 4x12's for at least a few months (best case scenario) but quite possibly even a year. We'll see.

Good luck, and great tone you got there. I like how well your guitar cleans up with the volume control. What pickup is that?

Those clips make me miss the vtm-60 I used to have long ago.

Thanks. The pickup is the stock First Act pickup that came in the guitar. About 9.1k. Only thing I did was remove the tone pot and wax pot the pickup since it was squealing. Its a cheap Chinese pickup but it sounds pretty similar to my Sheptone Tribute PAF I have in another guitar. Also, the Boss SD-1 is on the whole time.

Wow, ya it cleans up really well and it's got a nice chunk to it.

Sorry to hear the news Bubba! Once you get things settled again you'll get all your stuff set back up and enjoy playing again. It will go quicker than you think so stay positive. Alot of use have been through situations similar to yours!

I for one could never live with my EX for that amount of time no matter how amicable the split....you are a better man than I..............

We'll miss your clips....I always enjoyed them!

I would also like to thank you for never using your old RT avatar again since you retired it!:p:hys:

Divorced 2014...Best thing that ever happened to me. Remarried 2 years later to an amazing woman who proceeded to shower me with guitars. Can be terrifying at 1st but believing in yourself is essential. Same holds true for playing guitar.
