arrived...first impression: WoW! Vintage depth is super powerful but still retains clarity
 
I'm spending all my time tweaking and wanking! Holy crap, this thing smokes on the detunage...I'll try to get some sort of a decent clip together for you soon, in the meantime, here's a crap iphone clip of my first night at lower volumes (string noise warning):

Yes I dig....after one day with this amp I decided to do a mass MTS sell off- no small decision as I've been digging those tones for 5 years. This Recto is a beast and fulfills my angry riffing desires!
It seems a contradiction- tight yet huge low end- but this amp is loaded in this area. I love the immediacy- the notes are in my face! I can't wait to retrack and finish a bunch of my tunes with this amp and create a bunch more- I was up till 2am jamming away getting lost ion the gain!
 
That's great to hear -- definitely post the tracks, I'd love to hear them!

Also, not sure what pickups you've tried so far, but definitely try lower output pickups at some point. It will be even tighter with more clarity and string separation than with higher output.

That'd be me! We don't advertise mods per se, as we tend to concentrate on building our own designs of heads, rack mount amps, floor controllers, and rack switchers... We've been doing mods for a couple years, and plan to continue to do so as the demand is there. :)
