yep...VERY true! along with Icon,from Phoenix,Az.,these were two of the most "underated" metal bands of the 80's that were better than most of the bands that were "regularly-aired" on MTV,back then...never could figure it out,myself! :confused: just glad i was "into" them! :yes:

I'm probably sounding like a newbz fanboy but "Edge of Thorns" is such a great song. I can listen to it on repeat a couple times and not be bored. :rock:

yeah,i can listen it many times over and not be bored either...hey,at least,you know what good music is...i'm still in disbelief that today's youth are listening to such crap as rap/hip hop...that's not even music,imo.for starters,there has to be people actually playing instruments,not some sideways-hat-wearin'-monkey scratchin' an album,while sampling "repeats" of another band's song fragments...all the while flippin' gang signs with their nasty hoe-bitches,wiggling those crack-infested J-LO booties,just waiting to finish the "video shoot" so that they can get another couple "coke-lines" thrown at 'em... :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: ...and now,back to our regularly-scheduled program!!! ;)

i'd rather listen to rap than country...ANYDAY! and i don't consider rappers musicians but it is music. that's like saying that all those drum playin' indian music from back in the day isn't music...or bagpipe music...you ever hear that shit? it repeats quite a bit.

no,actually i was SPECIFICALLY only refering to crap,i mean "rap" music.nothing else.that's because it's the biggest garbage out there.indian snake-charmer music or bagpipe music is wayyyyyyy higher up the list,as far as calling it music,even though it does nothing for me...btw,my girlfriend is my age and is part of the older generation that's smart enough to NOT listen to,or even aknowledge ghetto music,nor would i demeanor myself by hanging out with a chic who does.i'm not much of a country music fan,but would still listen to that over rap music...sorry,but please do not confuse my gal with YOUR old girlfriends... :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: ...have a nice day! :yes:
 
Edge of Thorns is cool. I like it.

I just like the darker more "EVIL" songs that Jon sings/wrote in the band.
