It was EPIC!!! I was in the 5th row. It was really good, Iommi was on, he was ripping it up, and so was Geezer! Of course, Ozzy sounded just as good as ever. The drummer they are using, Tommy Clufetos was just killer, kept it tight and plays hard. He also had a killer drum solo, but I still would have rather had Bill Ward. All in all, it was amazing. The only thing I would have them do different: play The Wizard!!!! I wanted to hear it so bad!!

Cool! how was Iommi's tone? I saw them years ago at an Ozzfest show at the Shoreline and his tone was huge and powerful. Pretty amazing that they are still playing live shows considering they debauchery that they subjected themselves to at a younger age.

His tone was great, really FAT, thick and defined, trademark Sabbath tone!!

Saw them about 10 times in '99. I was with a documentary crew filming the Ozzfests.
They are fucking awesome live.

I was. Saw Slayer about 10 times as well. Last show of the tour, I was on stage by the side. Tony Iommi is getting ready to go out. I have a video camera and it's dark as hell. He goes to go out and turns back with this WTF look on his face. I was standing on his guitar cable. I felt like a total dumbass.

saw them in nyc and they delivered for sure! did you happen to catch the Rival Sons? imo the best new rock band out there, although theyve been around for a while ..they have a killer sound the singer is very plant-ish but id say even better....worth checking them out id say

Now I'm kinda bummed I didn't get tickets :( Passed up on the show that came through Albuquerque because its about a 3.5 hour drive one way. Damn!

I saw them in May and man the rival sons guitarist had a HUGE tone ... didn't really like their songs but that tone was great. Ozzy sounded a lot better than in 2013 (I think it was). He was still a bit pitchy on a couple of songs but overall he was way better. Tony and Gez were just great as always as was Tommy.

I am so glad I got to see them one last time, even of the set list was a bit meh

I saw them here in Dallas a couple weeks back.
That's funny they played everything I wanted to hear, expect the wizard. I was thinkin the same thing.
But I was very impressed overall, great show

Still one of my favorite bands, I've only seen them once but with Dio on vocals... which isn't a bad thing. Good to see them still kicking ass!

They lowballed Ward and wouldn't pay him as much.

I saw them in 1980' ive moved on.

shame they could not wrap up their career with Ward on the kit. When I saw them it just did not have that underlying groove and swing that Ward brings to the table. A bit flat but I guess we are lucky they are even out there.

Nope Oz/Sharon were screwing Bill Ward. Sharon screws everyone. I sat with Dio, his wife & son, Iommi IDK where Geezer was, Ward & the Sammy Hagar band in 1980' on Boeing 727 to Chicago, the show the night before was most excellent. At the time i thought Sam actually did a better show as far as "high energy R & R".

Dio's son had a Sony Walkman [first i'd seen] because they had been to Japan, it was 1980 and there wern't alot in the States yet. This was before MTV.

I thought the Heaven & Hell stuff Dio did just before he died was really cool !

Can't speak on Ward health and ability, but definitely a history of this with Sharon, Daisley, re-recording drum and bass tracks on original albums. The one that really kind of told me all I needed to know was a recent comment by Alex Skolnick that he had literally gotten the job for Ozzy and then was told no and given to Holmes.

Sometimes its about the money and greed is a motivator. Imagine Izzy Stradlin being offered a 5 figure salary for GNR work...

-IOMMI is the main factor behind not letting WARD back in the band, not sharon-(IOMMI & WARD's feud is epic on there sites)

-if you believe all the stories, Daisley & ...... <----forgot his name----- wrote the entire album-(BLIZZARD of OZZ)-that all OZZY did was show up completely fucked up and sing complete written works, i guess this means all the guitar parts were done as well,.... and RHODES just copied them.

-OZZY wont be appreciated until he's long gone,.....
-OZZY came up with the harmony & melody of every song that he sang...... usually the lyrics as well.
-OZZY's voice broke during the SABBATOGE era,.. his voice was clearly one/one and a half octaves higher,... if you dont know what it mean's to have your voice break,... ask ROGER WATER's,.. or better yet JULIE ANDREW's-(of THE SOUND OF MUSIC fame)-....it was the end of her career, many other's suffered the same fate...
-IOMMI is a confirmed control freak,.. but with out a doubt the best guitar performance i have ever seen, HEAVEN & HELL tour in BANGOR MAINE,-(the BANGOR auditorium is an old miltary "Y shaped "thing" made of metal,.. infamous for incredible bad acoustics along with the sound of vibrating metal,... it was the first time i saw SABBATH,.. IOMMI was visibly pissed off,.... i saw him go through 5 guitars,... BUT HIS PLAYING,.. AND TONE WAS FUCKING FIERCE!!! i didnt know a guitar had that much evil in it,... was also the first time i felt C# hit me in the gut,..

-seems every great band has a great drummer- and BILL WARD IS A GREAT DRUMMER,.. there is some talk of BILL joining SABBATH in the last leg of the tour in europe,.. especially in the last birmingham shows,...

-*one of my favorite OZZY songs was written when GEEZER left SABBATH-(ERRRRRRRR left IOMMI is more accurate)- and joined OZZY,.. it was a GEEZER & OZZY song like back in the SABBATH days,... the song isnt even listed, it's called "HERO" on the NO REST FOR THE WICKED album,.. it wasnt on the CD,.. but i know it's on the casset,... check it out if you havent heard it,... its on YOU TUBE

Didn't Ward have a long history of dropping the balls due to health issues? He had a heart attack right before the 1997 reunion tours and sat out of the first leg of the tour. He also left Heaven and Hell after a few shows. I can't see his health becoming any better after all these years.

If he's still in the band we might not even get a world tour, haha.
