Carlos Cavazo? After thinking about it, they brought in a guy named Carlos (didn't catch his last name) for one song at the end, and they said he was a local guitar legend. I'm wondering if the SLO was his...?

Oh yeah that's him! I looked him up to confirm, didn't realize he played for Quiet Riot way back. That explains why they played part of the main riff from Metal Health (Bang Your Head)Carlos Cavazo?
Damn that's loud!! And in an eatery too. And yep, that's a fitting description. Wouldn't know from the pics that he's a wicked guitarist about to melt faces, loli saw them a few years back when TG was having some anxiety issues. fortunately he made the show and it was loud as FOOK. 105-107 dB in that small eatery in Memphis (Lafayette’s). no one could talk texting only Incredible show with Faster Pussycat. T.G. Was playing his LPs. And he looked like the geico man coming from underneath the rock. Honestly, I don’t know what rig he was playing through as the Friedman was not plugged in and it was said before he used a Helix I believe. The opposite side of the stage had a Marshall. I don’t think that’s what he was using. Great show.
Oh man from Ratt too, I didn't know thatCarlos Cavazo from Quiet Riot and Ratt

I was a Sophomore in high school in 85' and started playing guitar then. There was such a huge amount of amazing hair metal, thrash, rock, etc., etc. Something for everyone. The songs were uplifting and about having a good time.I believe it 100%! It's such a bummer that that era had to end. Although, I suppose if it lasted forever it wouldn't stand out in such a great way
