.....does someone actually have to play an amp to say they're not into the tones they've heard from clips? Have you never decided you're not really interested in an amp when you've heard plenty of clips of it, or do you hunt down every amp you possibly can that you've never tried before just to prove you don't like it in person, as well?

I hunt every goddamn one of them down, even if I hate the f'n clips, and then I play "Lay It Down" through them until whoever owns the amp tries to kill me...

That means they are either (a) basing their "reviews" or conclusions on internet clips (of which, we have already established, there are primarily only ones showcasing the CCVs ability to do the hot-rodded thing and not any of the other tones it produces), or (b) simply talking smack.

I don't think you can write off an amp based solely on clips. You have no idea how the amp has been dialed in in the clips, what the players' preferences are, how versatile the amp is, and how accurately the tone was captured.

Most of those guys probably can't play the guitar, all they can play is clips.......

I wrote off those Framus amps, cobra/dragon? when they were getting pumped up media some years ago, based solely on the clips... that exageratted low end/low mids type voicing was not what i was looking for. I'm glad the clips were around at the time to help me out.. I never post clips though lol I never got into the whole recording thing.

Mark Day is a cool guy and I consider him my friend, hopefully he feels the same but you would have to ask him?

No I am not gay (married with a daughter) and I am confident Mark Day is not gay as well but its none of my business regardless.

Mark Cameron left us we didn't leave him. Are there some unfortunate pics out there that are not flattering after a night of scotch, sure thing, whatever...I never said I was a model.

I think they are referring to that situation where you gave someone a shipper account to ship something bulky/heavy (maybe a cab?) to you and he shipped it overnight or something at some ridiculous expense to you. That I do remember being discussed here.

They are saying you made the dude sell his only amp to pay you back or something, which I don't remember at all...

I am convinced that you could have given the first batch to the people that lost due to Mark and you still would be an ass to that crowd. There is a lot a jealousy and envy in the world, especially the Internet. I doubt most of the Cameron haters have $3000 in gear total, let alone one amp.

I judge people by how they treat others and you have been pretty decent to many including myself. As long as you maintain that decency those of us that actually have money to spend will continue to consider your offerings.
