have no idea what amps he was using but he had a wall of wylde audio cabs and was using his brand guitars. he's a machine though. coc was using orange and saw a couple recto pre's in a rack, they were loud as fuck to. redfang was pretty cool, it was kind of sad watching them break down their own gear when they were done.

How was COC? Big fan in the 90's. Saw them around Wisebood and they were great. Good to see them back, not sure if I like the new stuff so much tho.

they were good, you could tell they were having a good time. loud as fuck to. hate to say it cause woody is cool as hell in interviews but him and the bass player were kinda creepy acting, especially the bass player. maybe it was the skullet he was rocking. they had some young guy on drums, not sure what the deal is there. been listening to them since blind also. pretty tight and they rocked. sad part is I had 2 extra vip tickets-i should have posted them up on here but i was not thinking. get up at 0200, go to work, get off at 1200, drive almost 4 hours...i was whooped.

When I saw them, COC and Red Fang shared the Oranges. Didn't see any Mesas, as expected.

What did you think of Zakk's guitar player?? Played just like Zakk, but he seemed alot more melodic. He was pretty impressive on the solos he played!

Did you take your kid? Did he like it?

i didn't just because of the travel dude, almost 4 hours each way. and the weather was supposed to be terrible(not to much snow anyway). his band is tight....if he's on stage with zakk you know he can bring it. He really puts on a show, props to him for that.

Woody refuses to use Orange heads. He uses the cabs , but he has used Rectos for decades. I’m surprised that he came off as creepy. He is an amazingly nice and humble dude . Pep is using Thunderverbs. The “young guy” drummer is actually Reed. He looks awesome for his age.
