Scammer over in the HC Drum Forum is getting f'n recognized!

Kinda of a long thread over there that many of us have been following....but the Reader's Digest version:

Dude posts some cymbals for sale. A buyer buys one, pays for it. Cymbal arrives and it is very apparent that it has been cut down from an 18" to a 16". Buyer is pissed. Calls seller, complains. Seller tries to deny any wrongdoing...then caves and says he'll refund money when he gets paid in couple weeks. So far, lame.....but not full on scam yet.

Well a smoking gun was just discovered. A persistent Drum Forum member found some posts on another forum, where the dumbass literally admits to a little cymbal business where he buys cracked cymbals, cuts them down and passes them off as decent cymbals. This was just posted over there.....exposing this P.O.S. for the scammer that he is. Of course, he is no longer posting in the thread.

His reputation is currently being destoyed on several drum forums....just thought I'd share for anyone who has time to read and wants to see a scammer get flat out PWNED. Feel free to pass on...remember Charlie Wenzel? Ah, the power of the internetz.

Initially I was letting it go....but with the current revelations there, it must be shared on as many musician's boards as possible.

No worries - I stick to the drum forum. The Amp forum is where I get in trouble. Potatoes narc'd on me last time.

His HC user name (and evidently one he uses at most of the other drum forums that he's been posting in) is: ddrumbum

I quoted the image and the posts in which he's totally busted, on the last page of the thread at the moment (page 11).

This is the sort of douche I'd love to meet in person...

Then the guy goes on to lay out the crap he found on some of the other boards that DrumBum posted on.

So funny how CAUGHT that dude was.
 
That was one of the better threads to date lol! It took forever to read it all, but it was well worth it!
 
I think when the scammer returned to the thread on page 10 he didn't realize he had been completely busted on page 7. As soon as I reposted the info from page 7, he vanished into thin air. I guess that makes it even funnier seeing him argue and play the martyr for a whole page, meanwhile everyone on the thread except him knew exactly how busted he was.

What a douche, I checked out that thread. Guys like that with no conscience blow me away.
He should be a politician. :lol: :LOL:
 
FWIW, the guy made a full apology and completely admitted (finally) what he did.

Figured that he should probably get a little credit for that.
