schaller floyd saddles/set screws???

Your fine tuners probably won't work with a standard floyd set screw. They need that big diameter portion of the Schaller set screw.

The saddle screws/nut screws are 3mm, intonation screws are 2.5.

You should be able to go to the hardware store and by an Allen wrench to fit

those are the same that came on the schaller knockoff on my jackson. I've replaced them with standard floyd string block screws before. There's less travel for fine tuning but they work.

Th issue I ran into is that they are longer, so they almost stick out past the recessed route for the trem. My floyds are dive only, so it's not an issue per se, but if you float yours, it may be a problem pulling up. and if your bridge sits into the route, might make it difficult getting an allen wrench behind it.

I'll take a pick of it this evening when I get home if you like.

For my Floyds with the barrel bolt, Schaller and Old Charvel/ Jacksons I keep some standard floyd bridge bolts around. Just temporarily replace the barrel bolts with standard ones so you can use an intonation key and then return the originals afterwards for full range tuning. Pretty simple, considering you don't need to do it that often.

Lots easier than dealing with the FloydII? that has the top mount short bridge bolt and the cast fine tune finger. Pain in the ass and susceptible to fracturing.

That sounds like a good idea man. Thanks. I hate to just get rid of the schaller as i have no issues with the quality of the trem itself. Will give it a try.
