Schecter/Anderson guys: help id this guitar pls! aka NGD

found this guitar locally, it got me interested since it looks like a Schecter made by Anderson...

i don't know the serial (if there is any at all), they seller doesn't know much about guitars and can't provide any info. he just bought it "some 10 years ago and used rarely at home".

so, any info is much appreciated:

It looks like those new schecters on Ebay, I am not an expert on the early TA Schecters but I have never seen that style back in the 80s.

you're probably right, if i'm not mistaken schecter used strat-shaped headstocks during the TA era.

The T/A schecters still had the parrot beak headstocks, maybe some were strat head from the schecter parts bin but most were the schecter headstock.

Schecter Custom Shop CET (Contour Exotic Top). I've owned two of them. Well atleast it looks like those. I believe mine had Los Angeles California USA underneath the Schecter logo so maybe those are imports but it does look great!

What does it say on the bolt on plate? Schecter has changed hands at least 5 times so It may be a USA model. I think that is a Kahler made Floyd rose.

dunno about the neck plate, i'll ask him, but the auction ends tomorrow (hope he'll be able to answer). indeed the bridge looks like Kahler or Schaller FR.

I got a grand for one of mine and I think $1100.00 for the other. If you get it for less than 600 you got the deal of a life time IMO.

i guess the only way to find out what it is exactly is to mail Schecter. which i will do when i have the guitar. but during my researches i found this site in Belguim that has a pic of an already sold CET and the headstock looks the same: http://www.limit.be/S200001.html
