Schenker jamming in the basement

There's at least 6 songs from that series. I watch those endlessly. Notice who is his backline...

If memory serves me it looks like Herman Rarebell on drums and Francis Buchholz on bass. Very cool.... I still can't believe Michael can still play with the stamina that he has after playing for all those years, he must have magic hands and genetics, so many players being afflicted with tendonitis, arthritis even at younger ages. I have read that EVH is fighting arthritis in his hands now.

It must be the Keith Richards effect of making the body impervous to disease from extreme drug and alcohol abuse.

I just seen him this year and he was great, it was bucket list show for me and he did not disappoint.

Killer!! An example for us aging dudes to follow. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting, that is great! The Scorpions are so underrated. So many great hits out of those guys and great riffs!

He needs to get back to Gibson Vs... the Deans are cool and all, but I don’t think they’re as iconic as Gibson’s (or him for that matter).

I agree, I like Gibson’s better but at least he plays what he endorses.

He plays so effortlessly, so smooth. Good stuff for sure. Lovedrive was one of my first 5 albums years back, can't remember if MS was still with them for that album...

Agreed but it made me pull out my Hamer Korina Vector and play for about 3 hrs straight. FUCK YEAH

That was killer.
Reminded me of my jam room at my old house. Just 3 guys jammed in a small tight area and just rock
Like mentioned above. That clip was Rock n Roll!!

Thank you for posting this - just fantastic! Watched every second. Schenker is still so unique and the phrasing is just classic. To me, what its all about.

He's one of the greats! He came here locally at a small theater a few years back. I hope he comes back soon. Same drummer and bassist in the OP I believe.

Late 80s 2205s sure put out some nice rock tone, esp with MSG behind the wheel!
