Neil Schon sells a lot of gear at Bananas at Large in San Rafael, that's California. Anyhow, it is usually WAY WAY overpriced, but this time, at least one is priced a bit better than normal. His Friedman SS100 is only 2800 bucks used and they would probably go a little lower. The 4 VH4's he is selling definitely have some wear on them, scratches, dings, writing, tape on them, etc. They said those are 4 grand each, and all the marshalls are also almost new prices, a hair under I guess. They said, "those are Neil Schon's, you are lucky to get these at the prices we are selling them at, there are collectors who would pay much more." I will say though, they are less than normal. I have seen them selling Schon's gear for EXORBITANT prices in the past, and even though I don't think a beat up VH4 is worth 4 grand I would have thought they would have listed them at 6 or 7 grand like normal. I was very surprised to see the Friedman for 2800.

If I were as successful as he is I would just give that stuff away, especially the stuff he probably got free.

Who even gives a flying fuck about Neil Schon? You know you're a has-been when your songs are played on car commercials. AHHAAHHAHA!

Neal's paying off bills ...

I wonder if they also are selling the iPhone he used to take a pic of his Schlong with? It's funny, I was bored the other day and went on iTunes looking for some tunes and came across Neil's solo instrumental guitar album, 'The Calling'. I couldn't make it past the second song.

He plays the amps one time and they consider that endorsed.

Good think he kept a horizontal angle on that photo. Probably just finished a download on a brownload. Mother of toilet seat in the background.

Here's a fake 1987 on "Schon" guitar on reverb

I own 2 of these and they should have bound fretboards and it should say Made in USA on the headstock. in 2002 Ed Roman purchased the body blanks and rights to make these. This is likely one of his. it is 100% not a 1987 nor is it one of the ones made by Larivee.

The question is what is he playing now now that he's offing all' these high profile amps..

Custom Historic Bronze Schlong with COA is the only way ... :D

So, why then aren't they selling to the "collectors who would pay much more."

I remember this guy
he's in a band called Journey
a karaoke band from The Phillipines
