My Framus has midi, and this is the first time I have decided to use it on an amp. I see the programming stuff on the back. If I understand it the right way, there are four things that can be 'switched', three channels and a MV 1&2. I know very little about midi and don't want to spend much. I just want to be able to change the channels and switch the MV for some modes.

I am looking for cheap, but I don't want to have to buy another in two years because it was junk.

I am greatfull for the anticipated knowedge to come.

Cheers!

The behringer seems to be pretty solid, great feature set for the price. Harley benton has a small midi controller now too that is stupid cheap. Or a used ground control pro (tried and proven).

Tech21 offers a much smaller version called the midi mate as well.
