Scored BIG from Guitar Center, and I didn't pay 4k . (IIC+)

Last week or so I was browsing Guitar Centers online classifieds for used gear. Just killing time and not seriously looking for anything. I searched Mesa Mark and I saw that a cool looking Mark III combo just arrived in a store in California. They had it listed as a Mark III, and for $1100. It was in a cool tan color and wicker grill. I was like, "cool looking combo". So I enlarged the pic and something looked off. There was no pull/rhythm 2 labeled over the middle knob, which every Mark III has. So I was instantly curious and called the store and asked them to read me the Serial Number. As soon as he said 13 thousand I said here's my credit card number I want it. I was still thinking that maybe something was wrong, either a wrong pic or something. NOPE, I just got it today and I scored a loaded IIC+ for $1200 SHIPPED Yes, THANK YOU..THANK YOU....THANK YOU... Guitar Center. I LOVE you guys. I'm glad nobody at that store knew anything about the IIC+

Found me another one too, although it is a IIC converted to a C+. Still, she's loaded with all the proper iron, bells and whistles and the correct faceplate. Mesa was so inconsistent during that era with assembly components. Should have this here in a week.

Doesn't have the export tranny. But it has simul-class, EQ, and the combo speaker is a 200 watter. Shit, I would of been happy with a plain 60 watter for the price. I've been playing at mouse fart volume but it sounds killer.

I found a late 60's marshall cabinet, green basket weave, all original, for $400 cash out the door. Myself and my friend were just shocked. At the time were over 2 hours drive away from home and were going to buy the cabinet and split the profits 50/50. By the time we drove back the next day it was gone.

Deals are out there for the taking, you just have to be in the right place at the right moment
