Chad's Mark IV is a great amp for that price. IMHO the Mark IV gets you a million times closer to a IIC+ than the Mark V does. The Mark IV is a great amp. :rock:

I sold a pair of IIC+ heads a few years ago and have always regretted it. Now I have an Electra Dyne 2x12 combo and this IIC+. They're very different amps and both cover a lot of ground.

I have a 7 week old so it's been at low volumes. But I tried the LeTekro trick and was laughing my balls off. :rock:

Nice score. Any chance you can do a video comparing the IIC+ to a mark V? Not sure if one of your buddies has a mark V to do that.
 
I've never been a Mesa guy. But with all of the worship that the IIC+ amps seem to get (and very high resale values), WHY doesn't Randall do a proper re-issue of that model? (Instead of just continuing to say things like "the Mark V is ALL of the Marks in one and you should just buy one".)

Mesa claims they can't get the transformers for the IIC+ anymore. They also want to move 'forward' and so I don't think they have any issue in doing a reissue IIC+. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=112354

This is good comedy.

I have asked the local GC what's up with their crazy used prices. Some things turn up as great deals and others are completely overpriced. They have some kind of crazy procedure and they know their prices are all over the map.
