Found this at guitar center. It's a PRS SE 7 string, and apparently it is a special run of 25 guitars that the axe palace had done. It's Matteo blue, and has a bound ebony board with bird inlays and a natural satin finished neck. It also came with upgraded sperzel tuners and a set of bkp Blackhawk pickups which were apparently upgrades you could add on when purchasing. The thing plays phenomenal and while 7 strings aren't generally my thing i can see myself getting used to it quickly :D

Damn, that is a nice score. How are you finding the Blackhawks?

they have a lot of punch to them, and are beefy yet clear if that makes sense. they are designed after actives, and have that characteristic, but at the same time they are very organic sounding. again the clarity is insane considering how hot they seem. i would recommend them to anyone who plays more modern music, rather it be rock or metal. they have a percussive quality to the palm muting that i really dig

Damn dude, that is a lot of guitar for $550. Those BK pickups are at least $120 a pop used I believe? Nice score!!

Thanks man, it was a steal in my opinion. I was floored at the price myself, and being a 1 of 25 made guitar made it badass, plus the upgrades only added to its value. my buddy on here nothingeined, is the one who picked it up for me actually. it was on police hold or whatever they call it, when I first looked at it, and his buddy actually called him as soon as it came clear. He ran down and snagged it for me. I don't live in the same town as the guitar center and a shit load of people had asked about it, so he did me a massive favor.

Great score. I dig it.Looks killer!
Even if you don't play on the low B too much the tone of a 7 is just different. I don't know if its because the necks are bigger or what but they have thicker, woodier tone. Very general statement of course.

Cool find and story! Lots rip on GC, for good reason sometimes but they can be a gold mine for used deals. Latest one for me is an original 1978 fawn Marshall black back cab for 499.

I agree with this. My 7620 with BK Miracle Mans just sounds huge. Maybe its the bigger headstock?

That truly is a great deal. Congrats. I like that it has the natural neck
