Have anyone tried these humbuckers in a Strat? Think it maybe too bright?

If you are going to keep the 250k pot for your single coils, then the Demon would sound great in a strat. If you are using the 500k pot, then it will have a touch of the strat bridge bit to it.

I'm thinking of putting a Custom 5 in my strat, along with a Duckbucker and Lil 59. What pots should I use? Would this be a good combo?

For me, personally, I think that buckers in a strat with 250K pots is ideal. They seem to roll off Just a hair of treble, warming it up. I find 500K pots a little strident in the bridge.

Then again, I'm one of those people who actually like 300K stock Gibson pots in a LP.

I put a Duncan Custom in my Strat with 250k pots and found it darker than my Tokai LP, which was... weird. I put a 500k volume pot in and actually quite like what it's done to the singles too. I found them a bit dark before actually, so I may have a dark Strat but either way, I like the 500k with the hum more than the original 250k.

I've had a Screaming Demon in an Ibanez super strat since the late '80s- early '90s. I love it. I have no idea the pot value.

i like the bright cut of a strat with 500k pots.. some guitars are just too bright but for the most part, me likes the cut.
