SD Distortion - Why shouldn't I?

I didn't care for the Duncan Distortion. I know I'll get slammed. but I like the JB way better. But I like the 500T and the Aldrich way better than the JB in my Les Paul. Distortion, 500T and JB didn't work in my V. Ended up with the Aldrich in that too I have yet to try the custom. Would like to. But like Rup says, guitar dependant.
